Made of Copper, comprises Funnel, without a glass measure graduated cylinder. The solid copper collection flute is seamless for decades durability. This unique garden rain gauge is hardy in a wide variety of temperatures and weather conditions.

For best results order with a 1 000mL tall form beaker with spout (OM242-8) that is inserted in the copper to capture and assist with decanting the water into the graduated cylinders (PH0241B). The diameter of the funnel inlet and graduated cylinders (PH0241B) are designed to convert the mL, as collected, from volume to mm of precipitation. In terms of volume, with a rainfall of 10 mm, every square meter of the field receives 10 litres of rainwater. With a rainfall of 1 mm, every square meter receives 1 litres of rainwater.

 Please note the Rain Gauge BA Pattern excludes the beaker (only tall form will fit) and the graduated cylinders (PH0241B). For best results we recommend ordering the 1 000mL Tall Form Beaker as well as the graduated cylinders (PH0241B) to convert the rain collected to mm of precipitation.
